If Marty's eyes stop moving or lighting up after a tumble, the eye servo or LED connectors may have become dislodged. Open the faceplate to check whether this is the cause.
Turn Marty off before checking the connectors.
Open the faceplate
Press both blue tabs to release the faceplate, as shown below. This gives you access to the eye LED and servo connectors.
Check the LED connectors
The two groups of three wires, one from each eye, are the LED connectors. When seated correctly, they should look like this:

The group of five wires from the eye servo controls Marty's eye movements. The connector should be seated as shown:
Reseat any loose connectors
If a connector is slanted or loose, carefully press on both sides of its hard plastic housing until it sits flush with the port.
If it has come out completely, check its orientation before inserting it. The connectors fit only one way round and can be fragile. If a connector is difficult to insert, check that it is facing the correct way.
Close the faceplate
Bring the faceplate back into position, then press down on the horizontal crossbar until the tabs snap into place.
